Today we honor those who paid the ultimate sacrifice protecting freedoms we have in this country. Truly, freedom is not free. We must never allow those to be taken away or to ebb away. There is a price to pay and many have paid that price with their lives, leaving much grief for their families. Today I'm thinking deeply about the lives taken of 2 of my uncles, 1 cousin, 1 brother-in-law and 1 nephew who gave their all, along with the memory of a high school friend still MIA in Korea.
