I received an e-mail supposedly from Amazon telling me there was suspicious activity on my account and they were therefore blocking my method payment info and would be closing my account in 48 hours if I did not verify my info with them. Instead of clicking on the space they provided, I checked directly with Amazon and that message was not listed among the messages they actually had sent to me. The e-mail had the Amazon logo, address, etc. copied at the top and looked very authentic but apparently was blatantly fishing for financial info. They failed to get mine.

Re: Beware
Thats happened to me several times, I just ignore it.
I got one from the Geek Squad the other day, they have a whole website set up. I called them and informed them about it.
