Re: fall colors have arrived
What a wild night we had. I look out the window and my Scarecrows are gone and plant pot upside down. Too dark to tell if any real damage. My skeletons are still hanging on so that's a good thing. Had tornado warnings all niight. Around 9:30 I was sleeping and something loud woke me up....I nearly jumped out of my skin. Hopefully no trees are down.

Re: fall colors have arrived
I hope you don't have any trees down or other bad damage. In the last 24 hours, weather here has been wild too. Yesterday afternoon the temperature was 85 but the high humidity "feels like" temp was 93 with calm winds. After dark the cold front came through at 35 mph with high winds abruptly changing directions. This morning the low on my north side porch was 36, 40 degrees less than yesterday morning. It's almost 10 AM here now and my porch thermometer is reading only 40 with high March like winds howling. High is forecast to be around 65.

No weather problems here. 4:30 PM sun shining and 48 temp on front porch. I have a thermometer setting by my puter that reads outside on the front porch and right here where I sit.
Hope your weather improves.
Have a blessed day.

Re: fall colors have arrived
No damage...completely undecorated now and tons of leaves and branches came down. The noise had to be a tree int he woods that I can't see yet due to leaves. We were in 80's on Halloween and today a freeze of 30 degrees. It's official..growing season over.
