Yes, this is a new disturbance to watch, still moving slowly WNW, now located @ 13N, 42W, expected to develop rapidly as it moves over the warm water- 70% chance within 48 hours and 90% chance by this weekend. The track it may take after that is uncertain at this time.

At 11 AM EST on 9/17 it is now moving WNW @ 12 mph, being called TD 10, may (90% chance) receive a storm name within 48 hours. At this time it is forecast to probably take dead aim on state of Florida but course could change due to several factors.
As of 5PM, forward WNW speed has slowed a little to 10 mph, center now located @ 13.4 N &45.6 W. Expected to become Hurricane Jerry.

As of 11 AM EST on 9/18 forward speed of tropical storm Jerry has now increased to 14 mph WNW, with center located @ 14.6 N & 49.2 W. It will intensify rapidly and latest variables for path seem to indicate that before reaching Florida it is likely to turn more northward toward the Carolinas but could bypass them if it turns more northerly sooner than is expected at the present time.
There is yet another depression forming right behind it and tracking along the same path.

It does look busy down there. We are set to be the driest September on record and looks like we will break that record. No rain for us. Last year I prayed it would not rain because my yard was 100% saturated... so bad you could not cut lawn. Now it is super dry.
