According to my phone's caller ID, it called itself twice yesterday listing my own name & number and twice this morning at the same times as yesterday. It has self called before and I've never answered, trouble is it has also called and annoyed other people as well. Now I'm back to turning off the ringer, no one can reach me, and I'll only use the phone to call out if necessary. Oh, the widespread misery those robotic spoofers have created.

Well Lady it is happening to myself now. I have had three calls from meself. My name and phone nr but the number has a one in front like whence ye call long distance or out of your area.
I haven;t answered and I will not answer.

The spoofers are probably also using your number to call other people which will result in them calling you wanting to know why you called them. Verizon cancelled my prepaid dumb phone (not even capable of text messaging)account with 15 hours of talk time left on it because I didn't use it often enough to meet their terms. They didn't return my money either since it was "forfeited due to infrequent use". The only phone I have now is my home landline with Windstream.

Our house phone is with our cable bundle but I use AT&T for dumb phone. I only use it while out incase of emergency. Never sent a text and probably never will.
