No snow in the Florida forecast but it does call for lows around 40 on Thursday and Friday mornings, then heavy rain along with possible severe storms and slight chance of tornadoes on Saturday.

Going to 30 tonight. :-(. I gathered as much plants as I could and tucked under a paint tarp on the patio...a few baskets came inside once again.

Although I did get a "take cover now, shelter in place" warning on Saturday the severe winds & huge hail stayed north of me and did a lot of damage due to uprooted and downed trees, mobile homes, roofs, farm buildings, planted crops of cabbage, eggplant, bell pepper, etc. No reports yet of poultry or livestock damage. I was truly blessed and protected from the severe weather which started here about 2 PM on Saturday and lasted until about 3 AM on Sunday.
