Have a good one...just the 2 of us this year. Someone in the neighborhood tested positive today at the clubhouse. I never go there but my next door neighbor does and she's the type that can't stand 6 feet away. Hope she did ndot catch it.

Re: Happy Thanksgiving
Wishing everyone a sensible, safe, healthy, and happy holiday season and rest of the year. All of my relatives live in highly populated areas and most come into contact with multiple diverse types of people due to the nature of their jobs and their children's contacts. They have taken all known precautions since this virus made it's debut. So far none of them have tested positive or displayed any apparent symptoms. I live in a very isolated spot and about the only way I would be exposed to it would be through the mail or delivered packages since I'm not yet physically able to even get out the door of my house without help, and I have no one to help me get up or down the steps. I have some masks but no way to go anywhere, therefore no need to wear one since I'm all by myself. None of us are planning to get together for the rest of this year. We keep in touch by phone and internet.

I'm visualizing your white stuff Psycho, saw some of it on TV news, beautiful scenery, hoping no misery involved.

Re: Happy Thanksgiving
Thanks for that site Psycho. I bookmarked it and will read there in addition to OAN on TV. I've stopped watching the other networks propaganda which tempts me to apply an "Elvis" to the "picture tube".
I have to pay taxes on 85% of my Social Security and don't have much left after Medicare premium is withheld along with taxes. That little left goes to pay for my expensive supplement and prescription drug policy which paid nothing towards my RX expense this year because they changed my routine drugs to a different tier, can't change my drug policy because it is linked to my supplement policy which has been discontinued but I've been grandfathered in. I sure wish those over a certain age (perhaps 85) would not be required to take an annual distribution from any IRA or other small savings they have scrimped to save for old age emergencies. I realize withdrawals are 100% taxable at whatever the current rates, and after death to a beneficiary who must pay taxes on the full amount of the balance within 5 years of the death. That factor then puts the beneficiary into a higher tax bracket and if they are on Medicare it increases the amount of premiums they must pay. I've never been able to afford the premium for life insurance, have none to pay expenses to dispose of my body, and am beyond the age where any company will sell me any. I've never heard anyone say life or taxes are fair; so be it.
